Why Wool

Coarse wool is naturally antimicrobial and anti-fungal, making it highly resistant to odors and bacteria. It dries quickly thanks to its moisture-wicking properties and becomes denser and more effective with use. Unlike synthetic sponges, wool doesn’t shed microplastics and is fully compostable at end of life.

Most users report a lifespan of 6 months to a year per sponge, depending on use and care.

Scrub Care

• Rinse with warm water and soap after each use

• Air dry between uses

• Optional: Place in dishwasher (may shorten lifespan to ~4 months)

• Do not machine wash with laundry

• Periodic sun exposure helps sanitize and brighten

• Sponge will tighten slightly with first use and gain firmness over time

• Compost when worn thin
